The American Legion
- was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic, war-time veterans organization, devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is a not-for-profit community-service organization which now numbers nearly 3 million members, men and women, in nearly 15,000 American Legion posts worldwide.

AMVETS
- for more than 60 years, we have taken to heart the credo of service set forth by our organization’s founding fathers. In so doing, we endeavor to provide our fellow veterans with the type of support they truly deserve.

Artists Against War - is a Toronto based artist collective. Formed in March 2003, AAW is proud to be apart of artistic and global movement for peace

Center on Conscience & War - is a faith based non-profit founded by the Quakers, Mennonites, Brethren, and Methodists to assist in the placement of conscientious objectors.

Central Committee for Conscientious Objectors - has been there continuously since 1948, helping people who get caught in the military's web. The Wars of Terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan, the poverty draft, Junior ROTC, hazing, racism, sexual harassment and abuse are all dangers of an unchallenged military. CCCO is an independent, non-profit organization funded primarily by voluntary, tax-deductible contributions.

CODEPINK - is a women-initiated grassroots peace and social justice movement working to end the war in Iraq, stop new wars, and redirect our resources into health care, education and other life-affirming activities.

Coalition Against Sexual Assault in the Military Services
- CAMSAMS is designed to assist victims and loved one of victims get the help and education they need to combat these problems in a very personal time. We are also here to educate civilians and military alike the extent of these problems, who's affected and how we can fix these regulations to keep all our military and civilians safe.

The Department of Veterans Affairs - our goal is to provide excellence in patient care, veterans' benefits and customer satisfaction. We have reformed our department internally and are striving for high quality, prompt and seamless service to veterans.

Disabled American Veterans - with more than 1.4 million members, Disabled American Veterans is an organization of disabled veterans who are focused on building better lives for disabled veterans and their families.

Healing Combat Trauma - resources for and about healing combat trauma. The focus is on effective therapeutic care - medical, psychological and legal - plus analysis and context - the slant is apolitical.

IN THEIR BOOTS - hosted by Jan Bender, a veteran of the war in Iraq who served as a rifleman/combat correspondent in Iraq with 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines from 2004 to 2005. Every week an episode will be built around a dramatic and emotional IN THEIR BOOTS "Real Story," a non-fiction narrative about how our service people, their families, and their communities have been profoundly changed by the nation's campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) - was founded by Iraq war veterans in July 2004 at the annual convention of Veterans for Peace (VFP) in Boston to give a voice to the large number of active duty service people and veterans who are against this war, but are under various pressures to remain silent.

The Jamie Leigh Foundation - is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping United States citizens and legal residents who are victims of sexual harassment, rape and sexual abuse while working abroad for federal contractors, corporations, or government entities.

Military Families Speak Out - is an organization of people opposed to the war in Iraq who have relatives or loved ones who are currently in the military or who have served in the military since the buildup to the Iraq war in the fall of 2002. Formed by two families in November of 2002, we have contacts with military families throughout the United States, and in other countries around the world. Our membership currently includes over 3,400 military families, with new families joining daily.

NOW - is one of the few multi-issue progressive organizations in the United States. NOW stands against all oppression, recognizing that racism, sexism and homophobia are interrelated, and that other forms of oppression such as classism and ableism work together with these three to keep power and privilege concentrated in the hands of a few.
