RAINN (The Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) - is the nation's largest anti-sexual assault organization. RAINN operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1.800.656.HOPE and the National Sexual Assault Online Hotline at rainn.org, and publicizes the hotline's free, confidential services; educates the public about sexual assault; and leads national efforts to prevent sexual assault, improve services to victims and ensure that rapists are brought to justice.

Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office (SAPRO) -  SAPRO is the single point of accountability for Department of Defense (DoD) sexual assault policy. This web site provides guidance and other information for victims of sexual assault, unit commanders, first responders, and those who wish to prevent or respond to this crime. Sections address confidentiality, reporting procedures, and other elements of DoD's sexual assault policy as well as training information, safety tips, resources and links to related websites.

Service Women's Action Network
- supports and develops the leadership of veterans, mentors young women considering military service, works to solve problems facing women in uniform, and provides and promotes services that are healing to women after their military service experience. SWAN establishes a worldwide network of military women, veterans and allies to provide lasting support, community and resources.

Sisters Bound By Honor - in March of 2004, an application for membership was made to Brothers Bound By an active duty servicewoman who recently returned from combat duty in Iraq. She was in desperate need of help, support, and veterans who could understand. Membership has grown since then and now we seek out servicewomen who are living with the effects of trauma. This site provides lots of information and links to information for servicewomen.

Stop Military Rape/Military Rape Crisis Center - their mandate is as follows. Work with Congress to come up with new policies to better serve and protect survivors of Military Sexual Trauma. Assist survivors and their families of Military Sexual Trauma by informing them of various resources available to them. To never betray a fellow brother or sister in uniform. Educate rape prevention professionals on Military Sexual Trauma.

Truthout - understands and accepts that their readers are their sole supporters. This interdependency may occasionally be a bit stormy, but it guarantees that whatever issues arise will be worked out between their organization and the community that they serve. The corporate hand will never rule here.

Traveling Soldier - telling the truth - about the occupation, the cuts to veterans benefits, or the dangers of depleted uranium - is the first reason Traveling Soldier is necessary. But we want to do more than tell the truth; we want to report on the resistance to those on top - whether it’s in the streets of Baghdad, New York, or inside the armed forces.

United For Peace & Justice - is a coalition of more than 1400 local and national groups throughout the United States who have joined together to protest the immoral and disastrous Iraq War and oppose our government's policy of permanent warfare and empire-building.

United States Department of Veterans Affairs - t
he Center was created in recognition of women veterans and their right for gender-sensitive, high quality mental health care. The Center's mission, to promote the psychological well-being of women veterans, is advanced via provision of individual and group therapy, and delivery of psychoeducational classes and seminars developed in response to the unique needs of the women we serve.

Veterans For Peace
-
is a national organization founded in 1985. It is structured around a national office in Saint Louis, MO and comprised of members across the country organized in chapters or as at-large members. There is an annual convention each year attended by our members, families and supporters from across the nation. The organization includes men and women veterans of all eras and duty stations including from the Spanish Civil War (1936-39), World War II, the Korean, Vietnam, Gulf and current Iraq wars as well as other conflicts. Our collective experience tells us wars are easy to start and hard to stop and that those hurt are often the innocent. Thus, other means of problem solving are necessary. We are an official Non-Governmental Organization represented at the UN.

Veterans Village - the foundation is a peaceful non-political, non-religious group of citizens who are very concerned about the welfare of our children returning home from the Middle East. We are in the process of creating a second home for them to heal and connect back with our society.

Voices for Creative Non-violence -
has deep, long-standing roots in active nonviolent resistance to U.S. war-making. Begun in the summer of 2005, Voices draws upon the experiences of those who challenged the brutal economic sanctions imposed by the U.S. and U.N. against the Iraqi people between 1990 and 2003.

War Resisters League - the United States’ oldest secular pacifist organization, the War Resisters League has been resisting war at home and war abroad since 1923. Our work for nonviolent revolution has spanned decades and been shaped by the new visions and strategies of each generation’s peacemakers.

War Resisters - we, the undersigned, call on the Canadian government to demonstrate its commitment to international law and the treaties to which it is a signatory, by making provision for US war objectors to have sanctuary in this country.

Women Organizing Women - Promote safety of American military troops, and Homeland Security troops (Coast Guard) by educating government officials and representatives on dynamics of Military Sexual Trauma (MST) and working to change current policies, procedures, and laws regarding MST through the White House, Congressional inquiries, the Pentagon and beyond.
